Pinned

I love Pinterest.  I am not on there daily, but usually once or twice a week I get on and will pin things for a while.  However,  once I get started, I can spend quite a bit of time on the site.

I have quite a few boards including Home Ideas, Mom, Dad, Michael, Hearts, Pink, Baskets, The Perfect Garden, Doggone Cute Bassets, Mellow Yellow, Music that Inspires Me, etc.

I also have a board called Recipes and have pinned a lot of great foods to try.  I have pinned TONS of recipes, but have only made a few.  I really need to make better use of that board and go in and find new recipes to make.

I think my favorite board is my Home Ideas board.  I have pinned everything from baskets to craft projects to flowers to craft rooms.

Here are a few things I have pinned.

I did try this:

It turned out okay. I wasn't crazy about the writing job I did on it, but I love the idea.  I think I needed a bigger board to start with.  I may try this one again.  I have the wood, paint, and clothespins, so everything I need. And it was inexpensive!

This one is on my radar

I love yellow, and would love to have a yellow door.  I have the color all picked out - a subtle yellow that will go well with our siding.  I want the door to say, hello.. not HELLO!!!! so a pale yellow would be perfect.

And I can't wait to do this one:

I have been highlighting and writing in my Bible like crazy during the recent Hello Mornings study.  I think this would be a great way to learn a new verse and spend time each week focusing on God's word.

So I am curious.

What have you pinned.

What have you tried.

What have you liked?

  1. I pin recipes like mad & have tried quite a few. Cake designs are another that I pin a lot of. I have boards for each of the kids & my husband. Unfortunately, once he discovered that he has a board anyhow easy it is to access Pinterest from my iPad, he has stolen my iPad at least every few days & pinned like crazy... He's my 'lil "Pinterest-whore".

  2. I like the sock one, I think I'd need like ten more clothes pins on my version though. I like to pin ideas for down the road with the kids, like crafts, home schooling stuff, etc. But I usually pin recipes I come across, too. Send to be the best place to keep track.
