This recipe was on Facebook. I passed it numerous times and then found myself searching for it. I thought I was doing well to pass it up several times. So I didn't feel too guilty when I found myself copying the recipe on paper.
It came from Pinterest and was originally on food.com.
It honestly is all things yummy and heavenly.
Snickers Dip
8 ounces softened cream cheese
1/4 cup brown sugar
8 ounces Cool Whip
5-6 Snickers, cut up
Combine cream cheese and brown sugar, blending well. Fold in Cool Whip. Then fold in Snickers pieces. I broke them apart more with my fingers as I put the candy pieces in as they tend to stick together.
Serve with graham crackers or Tastefully Simple Twisty Grahams.

This makes quite a large amount of dip. I would say it makes at least 5 cups. So we had some with Twisty Grahams as a dip (yum-o!) and I took the rest and put in a graham cracker crust and made a small Snickers Cheesecake as it has all the cheesecake-type ingredients already.
If there were any Snickers left it would have been pretty with some more pieces sprinkled on top, but they were long gone.
This is an unusual-sized dish. It is loaf pan size in length, but several inches wider. I just made the typical graham cracker crust, spread the rest of the dip over it and sprinkled with remaining graham crackers crumbs. Great way to get several uses out of the dip if you don't have a larger group eating it!
**I found several variations of the dip, using more cream cheese, etc., but I think the above was a nice mixture. If you wanted it more thick and dense you could probably double the cream cheese and brown sugar.
I really don't think you can go wrong when 2 of the 4 ingredients are Snickers and Cool Whip!
Happy Fooding and Happy Friday!
