Late in his life my Dad was always losing his glasses. They always showed up in a most unlikely place. When you asked where his glasses were and he said he couldn't find them, the search was on.
The other morning my Dad had to be getting a kick out of me.
I went to do my hair. The routine is always go into the bathroom, take off my glasses and put them in the basket, do my hair, put my glasses back on.
Sounds easy, right?
Sounds easy, right?
You would think so.
Well that morning I found myself searching, pretty blindly, for my glasses after drying my hair. They weren't where I usually put them. Then I remembered my computer glasses! I just got them this year to wear while I work and love them!
So into the office I went. Grabbed my computer glasses for work and went hunting, a little less blindly, for my glasses. I hadn't set them in the office (what I used to do ages ago). Definitely not in the bathroom where they should be. I even looked under the hair dryer, thinking I may have put them in a different place and put the blow dryer on top of them.
Nope.
The search continued.
Finally, I found them, on the dining room table. Apparently I was going to grab the computer from the table when I decided to do my hair instead, and laid my glasses there.
There are quite a few things I can do without, but my glasses is not one of them.
I think I heard my Dad laughing.
