Boy has our Little Free Library been busy this summer! It seems about every other day when I check there are books missing or it is full of new books placed by others!
We have had fun meeting some of the people who use the library in the past few months. Sometimes when I am working I will see someone stop and drop off a book, or take one, but unless we are outside we don't always get to say hello and meet people.
We met a grandmother who picks up books for her granddaughters.
We have met several families who come get books.
We met a new girl on the street who loves reading chapter books. Junie B. Jones books seem to be a favorite with the chapter readers who have stopped by as these books come and go from the library like crazy.

This summer we have focused on changing up the books frequently and making sure there is a good supply of kids books in there as we wanted to keep kids of all ages reading this summer.
One day I noticed a group of teens out by the library. They were with an adult woman and admiring the library. Next thing I knew she was taking the kids' picture by the library. It was fun to see how excited they were about it!
We have had some great titles come and go from the library:
The Secret Life of Bees
The Notebook
Marley & Me
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
and just this morning I noticed The Hunger Games was in there.
We love the activity the library has had and it always makes our day to see someone stopping by.
Thanks to all those who have used and supported it!
