Brain Drain

Some things come so easy to me.

The ability to trip over the tiniest thing

Unintentionally developing an exercise program by making multiple trips into a room before remembering what I was going there for in the first place

The ability to browse and buy something, when I didn't even know I needed it!

But some things come much harder.

Like trying to tell these two granddaughters apart.

Their mom sends pictures by phone and will often ask, "which one is this?"

And I feel like a deer in the headlights.

I get it 100%

WRONG

My guesses always sound and read very confident.  But I am clueless.  And as a grandparent, I WANT to know which one is Elliot and which one is Finnley.

So I sit and stare at pictures of them.  Trying to find the tiniest of differences between them.  And just when I think I have something figured out that will be THE thing to look for....

my next guess is  wrong.

I honestly could not be taxing my brain anymore if I was trying to study for a college physics exam.

There is good news though!

Elliot is developing a cowlick!!!

God bless you Elliot!

By the way, Finnley is on the left and Elliot the right.

And yes  -   their Mom told me.

  1. You've done so much better lately! The real test is when you see them in person!
