Zooperstars and Dancing Coffee Cups

About 6 years ago we had season tickets to see the Iowa Stars play - they were the farm team for the NHL Dallas Stars.  We loved those hockey games at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.

The goals.

The saves.

The hits.

Okay, the occasional fights.

At one game they were going to have the Zooperstars as entertainment.

  These are the Zooperstars.

Or at least some of them.

They are people in inflatable costumes who go out and do silly things.  I kept telling Michael I wanted to be a Zooperstar! (and of course I pronounced Zooperstar in a really fun way).

How fun would it be to be anonymous in one of those costumes and do silly stuff?  Good grief -  I do silly stuff all the time - and not anonymous!!

It would be a blast.

This thought was rekindled this weekend when we went to Dunkin Donuts and I finally got to see what Michael termed "The Dancing Coffee Cup."

I would so rock this outfit and I totally LOVE the shoes.  I could do some awesome moves. Being paid for being silly?  Count me in!  Right now I do it for free!

So... in about 10 years or so, when I retire,  look for me on your local street corner.

Boy that sounds bad.

No, I will be in the fun costume making a fool out of myself and being silly.

They say you should do jobs that you are qualified for.

I may be overqualified when it comes to being silly.
