Aroooo!!

I've been working a lot of hours lately, 55 hours last week alone, but who is counting.
I've learned two things:
I am not cut out for 55-hour work weeks
...and it greatly affects my sleep.
I've been waking at about 1 a.m. for the last week and have had trouble going back to sleep.  If I do finally get some more zzzzz's I have had some really weird dreams.
Let's take Monday night for example.  In my dream I took Willow and Belle to a park.  Somehow I lost them.  I found myself in a building that was a combination of the ARL in Des Moines and a community college.
I can't explain it, I just report it.
There were little kids who knew I was looking for them, so they would round up any bassets they found roaming the area (and there were a LOT in my dream) and bring them to me, only to have me say, "No, that isn't Willow or Belle."  There were various dogs and bassets in these visiting rooms like the ARL has, so I would peek in those as I went by.  I've never seen so many bassets in one place before.
This was the point in my dream where it switched from feeling like the Des Moines ARL to a community college.  I have to explain the back story here before I go further.
Belle barks.  Willow howls.  She does this when she is excited (aka "lunch time").  It is the most beautiful sounding "Aroooo!" you have ever heard.  Luckily she doesn't do it at 4:30 a.m. when we get up and they get fed.  She only does it in the afternoon when she is hoping it is lunchtime.   Because they go outside prior to eating, anytime they go out and come back in starting at about 1:30 p.m., Willow will give a  hopeful "Aroooo!"
Okay, back to my dream.  I was roaming the halls of this community college calling for Willow and Belle.  Needless to say I was pretty disruptive but didn't care.  However I hit an all-time high (low?)  when I started howling to try to get a response from Willow.
Yep, I was roaming the halls of a community college howling "Aroooo!" at the top of my lungs.  The instructors and students didn't seem to appreciate my efforts as I went from classroom to classroom howling.
I never did find them in my dream.   But luckily, when I woke up Belle and Willow were both safe and sound.
Seriously, I've gotta get a good night's sleep.
