Caught

Isn't it amazing that some weeks seem longer than others?  A couple of weeks ago  I decided to celebrate the end of what seemed like a long work week by working in my pajamas.

It's true. 

When people hear I work at home I always hear, "Oh, you work in your pajamas!"  And honestly,  I didn't in the past.

 

But, since everyone assumes I do I decided to embrace the concept.

 

 

So I went through my checklist.....

....no UPS packages coming so no delivery man at the door.

....no one stopping by that I was aware of.

 

 

All seemed safe.

 

 

So after a shower and getting ready for work as usual I put on a super snuggly nightie, pajama pants, socks, and slippers.

(I know, the image is awesome isn't it???)

 

I started work.

 

 

My radio was on Life 96.1

 

 

It was a pretty stress free day

 

 

and the clock was steadily moving toward 4:30. 

 

 

Life was good.

 

 

And then it happened.

 

 

 

I heard a car door.

 

 

I looked out the window and it was a neighbor stopping at our house.

 

 

Luckily she does the same type of job I do and works from home, so if anyone was going to understand me answering the door in layers of pajamas it would be her.

 

 

So I opened the door and simply said,

 

 

"Only you could understand this Ann!"

 

 

And she did

 

 

And she was jealous.

 

 

She said, "You look so cozy!"

 

 

I wish I could say the pajamas are only on Fridays

 

 

But to be honest it has happened a couple of times. 

 

 

And I can guarantee you it will happen again.



As I've decided it really IS an awesome way to celebrate the end of the week!
