A Top 3

Have you ever done something and just wondered,  "Where did that come from?!"  Well I have had more of those moments recently.  Actually this is more the norm for me than not, but I just go with the flow and have to laugh.

If nothing else,  I thought they might be good for a smile (or if you are my age, reassurance that we are all going through the same thing.)

So here goes:

3.  When working on a shopping list of things needed for  back yard work I wrote, "3 - 4 x 4 x  8 green treated lumbar."
(That's what you get after 20 years of Orthopedic work.)

2.  When trying to figure out how much rock we needed for one of our flower beds I saw that a bag only covered 0.5 cubic foot.  I told Michael, "We are going to need SO MANY bags!"  Then he reminded me what a cubic foot is and that the rock would not  be a foot high.

Oh......yeah...... right.

1.  At my mammogram the technician said, "Bring up your right arm."  Up goes my left arm.  She said, "No, your other right arm!"

(Seriously, kindergartners know this!)

Luckily we had a good chuckle over it.

When taking measurements for the above-mentioned wood (not lumbar)  Michael said, "Are you going to write this down?"  I said, "Are you kidding? My mind is like a steel trap!"

He laughed.

Rightfully so.
