You know how I blogged about Michael's love for Dunkin Donuts? Well let's just say I really shouldn't throw stones. I drive him just as crazy with my love for TJ Maxx (heretofore referred to as TJM).
The big excitement for me is that a TJM is opening here in March!!

This has been something I have looked forward to for a year. I absolutely love TJM and Marshall's. I think what I like the most about it, is you don't know what you are going to find when you go in. I know, that sounds bizarre. Usually when you go shopping you have something specific in mind and let's be honest with TJM and M you can't really have something TOO specific in mind as the inventory is always changing. You can only HOPE to find something you have in mind.
I do have my favorite things I look for when I go in:
First, I check out the Tignanello handbags. I have gotten several there and love paying just a fraction of the retailer's price. (You know, "get the Maxx for the minimum.")
I love to look for Perlier White Almond products: shower gel, hand lotion, body cream, powder. I love the smell of white almond.
I also love some of the Philosophy shower gels (recently scored a Peaches & Cream!)
Then there are Carole Hochman pajamas. LOVE!!!
I love to check the paper aisle to see what scrapbook things I might find... or magnetic note pads for the fridge, or cheap books for the library.
I love the kitchen and home items.
Then there are the Life Is Good shirts I occasionally find.
And Michael and I got our Adrian Petersen jerseys at TJM!!
Ascher products (chocolate covered graham crackers and dark chocolate covered potato chips). Luckily I don't see those too often as they are addictive.
Okay, now I am driving myself crazy.
I even picked up an application for TJM. Then I got home and thought, "Seriously Barb... when are you going to have time to work a part-time job at TJM?"... and sadly threw it away.
Goodbye dream.
Goodbye dream.
So look for MY tent pitched outside TJ Maxx the night before THEY open.
And maybe my husband will stop by with a Dunkin Donut to keep me company!
