Notes

Do you find yourself making notes to remind you of things you want and need to do? Sometimes I feel I live my life by notes!   I started thinking about all the notes I make to myself.

First there's the list I start for groceries.  As we get low on things they are added to the starter list

Then there's the final grocery list (in order by store aisles)

The list of things to do around the house.

The list of errands to run

My blog ideas are an electronic list

The dry erase monthly calendar  - let's face it, that is just a big to-do list stuck on the fridge!

There is my "cards to make"  list

There's the Christmas and birthdays ideas list

Then there is the "what we actually bought" for Christmas and birthdays list

There's the budget

And that is just for home!

Work is even worse and in a very concentrated area - my office:

doctor's email addresses

words that are similar

who to contact for what

the blurb process

the op note process

And each morning I make a to-do list prioritizing my day's work according to which docs were in the office the previous day

To be honest, I could have skipped painting the office and just used yellow stick-it notes to cover the walls, but I can see myself standing and reading... and searching for just the one I need.

Not very efficient.

Do you rely on lists as much as I do?
