It's scary to go out and find a new hair stylist, but I was so blessed to find Sue! Not only is she great at what she does (a master stylist), but she has become a dear friend as well.
My hair appointments are much more than a haircut, we get to catch up on our families and dogs, share recipes, and laugh a lot.

Last time I was in she told me about a brownie recipe she had made and shared the recipe with me. They were a bit hit with our family when I made them and took some to Nebraska, so I asked her if I could share the recipe here. They are sooo fudgy! So if you have a craving for some chocolate a small one of these will do the trick.
Sue's Fudgy Brownies
Melt:
2 cups chocolate chips
1 stick butter
Off heat, whisk in:
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
Cool.
Whisk in:
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Pour batter in and bake for 45 minutes at 325 degrees.
I frosted these, but honestly they are so rich I think next time I would just sprinkle with a little powdered sugar. Sue didn't frost them and found they were more than rich enough!
Although I can't help but wonder how a little ganache would be drizzled over, but then you have to have ice cream to cut the richness.

Stop Barb!!!
Chocolate seemed like an awesome way to end the week. Just blogging about it makes me happy.
Thanks for sharing Sue
....and Happy Friday!
