Great Finds

I've had fun joining two local swap groups on Facebook.  It is amazing some of the things that people are selling.

Some of the most unusual things I have seen for sale are :

goats
(within 1 minute there was a sale - huh???)

very expensive diamond rings
(not sure these will do well on a site where some people want something for nothing:  "This ring is valued at $5,000" - "Would you take $5 for it?" )

and let's be honest

some Christmas decorations that looked as if they just needed to be trashed

We have gotten rid of a few things we no longer needed and of course have picked up a few things  - some we didn't even know we needed!

Here are some of my favorite finds so far:

2 beautiful glass serving bowls  -  $5

a new scrapbook kit  - $5

numerous books for our Little Free Library

and my favorite find so far ....

a Rival quesadilla maker for $10 - in brand new condition!

I LOVE chicken and cheese quesadillas  - toss in some green peppers, red peppers, yellow peppers, and onions and I am one happy camper.  Michael is getting a little tired  of them, but not me!  Since he needs a break from them for now I made one for lunch yesterday, ate part of it and put the rest in the fridge for a couple more meals.  It had only been used 2 times by the previous owner.

Score!

Warning - the swap sites are addictive.
You know you have been sucked in when you go around the house seeing what else you can get rid of just because it is fun!
