Teriyaki Salmon

No, it's not Friday!  I am switching things up a bit this week.

I love salmon.  I love that it is healthy, high in protein, and cooks in 20 minutes!!  It is like the perfect trifecta... or a hat trick!

So what could make salmon even better?  Any one of the three Tastefully Simple sauces I LOVE!

Pomegranate Chipotle is a sauce with a kick.  I head for this one when I want a bit of spice.  Bayou Bourbon is a deeper tasting rich sauce.  I want to say it has more of a brown sugar flavor... deeelish!   Both sauces are mainstays in the Tastefully Simple product lineup.

Tastefully Simple comes out with different teriyaki sauces off and on.  The current one (not the one pictured) is a Plum Teriyaki sauce.  I had stocked up on the Toasted Sesame Teriyaki Sauce so just finished using that one.  I am anxious to see what teriyaki sauce will be in their new catalog in March.

Not only are all three sauces great on salmon, but also wonderful on pork and chicken.  We have never tried them on beef, but the Pomegranate Chipotle and
Bayou Bourbon would be great on beef as well.

I recently made Teriyaki Salmon.  I am almost embarrassed to post this as a recipe because it is so easy... but if you haven't heard of or tried these sauces I wanted to share them with you.

Teriyaki Salmon

2,  5-ounce salmon portions
Toasted Sesame Teriyaki Sauce

Place the salmon in a baking dish.

Pour teriyaki sauce over, use as much as you want.

Did I mention I love sauce?

Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.  Salmon will flake with a fork when done.

Serve with a bag of steamed rice and vegetables. It just doesn't get any easier than this.

The sauces are so different that it is easy to switch up the taste of the meat so you don't feel you are eating the same thing over and over. If you don't have a Tastefully Simple consultant, leave a comment on here or my Facebook page and I would be happy to give you the name of my consultant.  They have wonderful products ranging from drinks (try the Oh My! Chai)... to appetizers... to breads (famous for their Beer Bread)... and desserts (3 words:  Absolutely Almond Poundcake).

Enjoy!
