Winners!

Thanks to everyone who entered the 10,000 Giveaway!  In the past I have selected items from local stores and have had offers from wonderful family members to donate really nice prizes.  It is fun to switch it up and do different things.

This time I wanted to give something that anyone, anywhere could use.  Barnes & Noble and Amazon were pretty safe bets!  You can shop online for both, or head into a brick and mortar Barnes & Noble if you have a day to spend browsing and getting a cup of your favorite something at their Starbucks.

I enjoyed seeing what each of you would do with a gift card in your comments.  I was trying to imagine what I would do with either one.... so many choices!

So last night Michael helped me with the drawing.  He likes to do this and takes his job very seriously!!

I stand on my tiptoes and hold the bowl high.  Michael turns his head the other way (he couldn't see in the bowl anyway but he is not going to be anything but fair!), mixes the names up, sifts extras out of his hand, and pulls out one name.  He doesn't even look at it, just hands it to me each time.

So here are the results.

The winner of the $25 Barnes & Noble gift card.......

I went back and read and Chelsea was interested in books on how to write a thesis.  I can't say writing a thesis is tops on my list, but  as a college student majoring in veterinary nutrition (I hope I have that right).... that has to be  pretty exciting in her world!

Congrats Chelsea!

And the winner of the Amazon gift card......

Faith, enjoy shopping for yourself or your grandson... or maybe both? I have known Faith since my junior high/high school days.  She and I were both sax players in band.  I'm thrilled we have connected again through Facebook.

Congrats Faith!

It's nice to have "old" and "new" friends keeping up with our life via my blog, and it's nice to have people I've never met logging on.

Thanks again to all for entering the giveaway, stopping by to read what is going on here, and making blogging so much fun for me.

Happy Monday!
