Foodie Friday! - Buster Bar Dessert

Oreos. 

Ice cream.

Peanuts.

Fudge.  





Buster Bar Dessert

1 package Oreos
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened 
8 oz. salted Spanish peanuts

2 cups powdered sugar
2/3 cup chocolate chips
1 can evaporated milk
1/2 cup margarine

Crush cookies and mix with 1/2 cup melted margarine.  Press in 9 x 13 pan. 


Spoon softened ice cream over.  Sprinkle with peanuts.  




Freeze.  

In saucepan combine powdered sugar, chocolate chips, 1/2 cup margarine and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil and let simmer 8 minutes, stirring constantly.  Remove from heat.  Let stand until cool.  Pour over ice cream.


Return to freezer. 

Soften slightly before serving.
