Kids Say The Cutest Things

We were able to spend time with several of our grandchildren recently.  It is always fun to hear the new things they come up with. 

This is our granddaughter Morgan, otherwise known as "Mo."  She is 3 years old and cute as a bug's ear!  Here she is modeling one of her princess dresses.  

Recently when Mo and her family (she has an older brother, Liam) were visiting us we were spending some time outside.  She really really wanted to go play on our neighbors' swingset as we don't have one.  Her Mom kept telling her that she couldn't play on it as it wasn't grandma and grandpa's, and she had not been invited over there to play.  

So Mo stood by the fence with her best pouty face possible and softly kept pleading, "Can I please come in???... please invite me!"  

Being 3 is tough.  

Grandma and grandpa not having a swingset is even tougher.

Last Friday night we had dinner with my stepson and his family.  They have a 3-year-old son, Mason, and twin daughters Elliot and Finnley, who are 18 months old.  

To say they have a busy house is an understatement.  They are teased often that they "play zone" with the kids as they are outnumbered.  We enjoy seeing how busy the grandkids are and how fast they are growing.  

But here was the best part of the night:

Mason: "Mom, can I have 10 brothers?"

Mason's Mom:  "Only if you're in a fraternity Mason... only if you're in a fraternity!"

I still can't stop laughing at that one.
