Foodie Friday! - Kiwi Strawberry Spinach Salad

With the crazy heat we have had this summer, refreshing salads are sounding better every day.  So I decided to share another cool salad that we enjoy.  This one combines both fruits and a vegetable and is great when paired up with your favorite grilled meat.


Kiwi Strawberry Spinach Salad

Combine: 
1 bag baby spinach
1-1/2 c. sliced strawberries
2 kiwi, sliced


For the Dressing mix: 
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. canola oil
1/4 c. raspberry vinegar
1/4 t. Worchestershire Sauce

Let the dressing sit for 30 minutes.

Add: 
2 medium green onions, chopped
2 T. toasted sesame seeds (to toast seeds bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes)
1 T. poppy seeds

Pour dressing over vegetables and fruit.  Stir well.  Serve.


This makes 8 servings.
