It seems each year we have a grandchild doing a magazine fundraiser for school. We have ordered a variety of magazines in the last few years. Michael enjoys photography magazines so he is always happy to renew his favorite subscriptions, but I really struggle to find a magazine I enjoy reading month after month after month.
Until this year.
Running out of options and time, I decided to order All You from our grandson, Liam's, fundraiser. The premise of the magazine is to enjoy life for less.
I have only received two magazines so far, but I have read them both front cover to back, which is very unusual for me. For instance, this month's issue featured an article on how to cut back on your pet's vet bills and another on how to cut back on added sugar in your diet and the benefits of doing so.

In addition it discussed an app for your smartphone where you scan in an item you would like to purchase and then get an alert when the price drops. I don't use a lot of apps and I'm sure I'm not explaining this one very well, but it sounded like a good idea.... even to me!
Each issue also includes book suggestions, recipes to try, freebies you can sign up for on various websites and easy do-it-yourself projects. However, the article I enjoyed the most this month was the Mother's Day Gift Guide. It had suggestions that were under $10, some under $25, and others under $50. I loved that it offered great gift suggestions for a variety of budgets... and the gifts were very unique.
This gift idea caught my eye.
Isn't it adorable??? It is called a Garden-In-A-Bag. These are designed to be indoor plants and come with the bag, soil, and seeds. It just needs to be placed in a sunny spot in your home and watered and you will have beautiful pink blooms in 8-10 weeks. I thought this was cute so wanted to give the website, ChuckleFarm, a plug.
I guess in the blog world I am supposed to tell you that All You and ChuckleFarm are not compensating me for mentioning them! I just like to share cute ideas when I see them.
So if you have a chance, pick up a copy of All You and give it a try.
And if you are as anxious for the flowers to appear as I am, check out ChuckleFarm as well.
