Barb asked me to write today's blog. I chose to write about *Perks* after a recent discussion we had. I work for a great employer with awesome benefits. The best benefit, in my mind, is the hours: Monday through Friday and I get off at 4:00 each day.
Another nice perk is that on the last Friday of each month they order lunch in for everyone. On this last Friday we ordered from Hickory Park (yum!). We get pizza quite often which I love as well. Barb says I'm spoiled. I reminded her that there are a lot of perks that come with her job.

Top Ten Perks of Barb's Job
10. She has a corner office
9. She has a very short commute (5 steps)
8. She has a liberal dress code (don't ask her if she works in her pajamas - she's heard that a lot!).
7. Every day is "Bring Your Pet to Work Day".
6. She doesn't have to share the microwave.
5. No vending machines to put up with.
4. She controls the temperature.
3. Nobody complains if she takes her shoes off or if she starts singing.
2. She has 2 friends there that she can talk to anytime (Belle & Willow)
And the No. 1 perk of her job......
If she has a bad hair day it doesn't matter!
