Trails

After a Friday night concert with 3 friends, a slumber party of 2, and a day of shopping on Saturday with another friend,  I declared Sunday to be:

 "Stay At Home and Get Something Accomplished Day."

Yeah,  well that lasted 2 hours. 

Next thing you know we were headed out to take pictures.  All of our pictures were taken in parks and bike trails in Ames.  It is amazing how much wooded area is in the middle of town and how many beautiful trails there are to enjoy. 

So take a peek at what I was able to catch pictures of on a beautiful fall day. 

We saw these rocks and laughed.  Michael said, "Mason must have been here."  He loves moving sand and rocks from one place to another at the park.



I was taking pictures and heard a rustling behind me and turned around to find this. 

Soon 3 friends had joined him.  We have seen many deer in town, but to see them this close was amazing! No zoom used!!

Weekends aren't always as fruitful as I want them to be, but they are always enjoyable.
