You are likely familiar with this recipe, but the first time I had it was when Michael made it for me, so to me it is "Michael's Salad." He made it for me when we were dating and it has been one of my favorites ever since, so again this week I am letting Michael do the recipe for the blog.
Broccoli Slaw Salad
Broccoli Slaw Salad
You'll need:
1 pkg. broccoli slaw
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. seasoned rice vinegar
1/2 c. olive oil
1 small pkg sliced almonds
1 pkg Oriental Ramen noodles
Combine the vinegar, oil, sugar, and Ramen seasoning packet. (Set the Ramen noodles aside as they will be used later.)
Stir well to blend sugar in. Set aside.
Combine broccoli slaw and almonds in large bowl.
Restir the liquid mixture once more as the sugar tends to settle. Then pour the vinegar mixture over the slaw and almonds.
Stir well to coat the broccoli slaw and almonds, then refrigerate to chill.
Before you are ready to serve it crush the Ramen noodles and sprinkle them over the salad.
