Foodie Friday - Michael Style

I know warm weather is here when Michael is grilling.  We really aren't cold weather grillers.   I've mentioned before what you see on Foodie Friday will never be difficult, we'll never be reinventing the wheel, what you will see is simply the food we love to eat... things you have  had before and things you likely make yourself.  Hopefully you'll come across something new or different from time to time, but this Friday is just plain good grilled stuff :)

This Foodie Friday features my favorite chef... Michael!  I love it when Michael grills.  The main reason?  I love his grilled potatoes!  So this week I let Michael take over in the kitchen to show you my favorite side.

Michael's Grilled Potatoes (2 servings)

You'll need:

foil
3 medium-sized potatoes
1 stick of margarine (you won't use it all)
onion
salt and pepper
(any other potato toppings you want: bacon bits, green pepper, etc)

Cut two rectangles of foil and slice the potatoes (we leave the skins on), dividing the potatoes between the two foil pieces.

Then top with anything else that sounds good to you.  We usually just do onions, but you could add mushrooms, etc.  Just keep in mind that the more you add the larger the piece of foil you will need.  Top each potato pile with about 5 thin slices of margarine, then some salt and pepper.

Wrap each foil packet up, sealing the seams by folding them over.

And here's the finished product!

Michael puts them on the grill at 350-400 degrees for about 45 minutes.

Love my grilled potatoes...and the burger was awesome too!

Happy Grilling.

Happy Good Friday.

And may your Easter be much, MUCH more than chocolate bunnies :)

Blessings.
