We always kept that baby smell, even through adulthood

My brain worked as well during the day as it does at 2 a.m.
Vegetables tasted like chocolate
Only kind words were spoken
Work was like kindergarten and we all took naps as part of our work day
I had more patience in waiting for things
Bullying would stop
I could get through Leviticus in the Bible.
People didn't use cell phones in checkout lines and restaurants
My parents were still alive and in good health
I could sing on key
Crickets, frogs and grasshoppers used blinkers so I knew which direction they were going to hop
"Thank you" and "You're welcome" were more common
Everything that grew in my flower beds sprouted with a label so I knew if it was something I planted last year or a weed.
I could sleep as easily as Belle
All our troops a safe return home

I wish no matter how far apart people were, that traveling to visit anyone in the world would be as quick as blinking your eyes- we would see my family much more often! Oh, wait- that's what Skype is for! lol!
